Taylor’s Corner Bed and Breakfast is a great home base for your vacation travels. We are in the heart of almost two dozen towns and 800 square miles of Connecticut’s “Quiet Corner.” We are convenient for your visits to Ashford, Brooklyn, Canterbury, Chaplin, Columbia, Coventry, Eastford, Hampton, Killingly, Lebanon, Mansfield, Plainfield, Pomfret, Putnam, Scotland, Sterling, Thompson, Union, Willington, Windham and, of course, great spots right here in Woodstock. Old Sturbridge Village is an easy drive away, as is Mystic Seaport and CT’s two casinos. Perhaps you wish to visit a university in Connecticut, Rhode Island or Massachusetts. We are just off Scenic Route 169 – a National Scenic Byway.

Brimfield Antique and Collectables Show – May/July/September

To Brimfield:
Left turn out the driveway, keep following signs for Route 171 West, past intersections with Routes 198, 197, when it meets Route 190/signs for I84 , at a stop sign, follow signs for I 84 East, after Union Town Hall and Fire Station, there is a left turn for I 84, take it, don’t get on I 84, but go over the overpass, follow the road to the right. This starts Mashpaug Road/Brimfield Road/Holland Road. Stay on this road, past some lakes in Holland, MA (watch speed zones), there are a few intersections where you might question which road is THIS road, the other roads have stop signs to enter THIS road, first questionable intersection, stay left, second one, stay right. Just after entering Brimfield, there will be a stop sign ahead, turn left onto Haynes Hill Road, at the next stop sign, Route 19, turn right to head North, about 100 feet or so, turn left onto Mill Lane, Accellent has a big sign. Follow Mill Lane to the show, I like to park at 11 Mill Lane or Shady Acres to avoid traffic.

Leaving from Brimfield,
Take Mill Lane (across from Quaker Acres, between Hertan’s and Mays Parking Field, at a stop sign, take a right, Route 19 South, for 100 feet or so,then a quick left on Haynes Hill, the next stop sign, turn right, this is Holland Road, follow this curvy country road, you will pass some lakes and a few speed zones (watch for police) Brimfield Road will turn into Mashpaug Road and this will take you toward I84. This is where you will see a sign for Route 171 East, turn left and drive over the 84 overpass, on the other side, turn right at the stop sign, still following signs for Route 171 East. Route 171 takes a left after the Union Fire Station and Town Hall. Then just keep following the signs for Route 171, it will join/cross a few other Routes. Stay on Route 171. You will pass a country store, a library and a fire station, after Coatney Hill Road (on your left)/Shields Road (on your right), we are on the right before you take that sharp corner. You will see a dirt road going uphill straight ahead. The trees sort of block the B & B sign until you are pretty close to it. 880 Route 171.
