In April, 2018, Corey Auger and Fraser Davis took over as proprietors and innkeepers at Taylor’s Corner Bed and Breakfast. Fraser has over 15 years experience in food service and hospitality, having trained at Johnson and Whales University in Providence, RI, and cooking in some of the best restaurants in the city. He is passionate about food and loves to laugh and spend time in the gardens or tinkering with new recipes in the kitchen. He is a self proclaimed handyman, so if you don’t see him in the kitchen or in the yard he is probably in the garage or barn trying to fix something!
Corey is part owner of the well-known winery next door, Taylor Brooke Winery. He also is the resident techie (he built this website!) and spends most of his day working as a data security and content manager for a large real estate management firm. When he’s not working, Corey spends his time working on community development with a focus on food access issues. Corey has spent the last 10 years helping to open the only community-owned food co-op grocery store in Rhode Island. Urban Greens Co-op Market, located in Providence, is slated to open in 2019.
We both love to entertain and host, and we are happy to begin this adventure together. Both of us love to cook, so don’t be surprised to find us in the kitchen early in the morning sipping coffee and preparing breakfast for the guests. Don’t be shy! Join us in the kitchen or have a seat at the table and we’ll come to you. Our goal is to provide amazing experiences for all our guests, no matter the length of the stay. We hope you’ll feel right at home in ours. – Fraser and Corey
